Who can join Castle & Crystal credit union?
Everyone who lives or works in the West Midlands can become a member of Castle & Crystal Credit Union and benefit from secure savings and affordable loans.
You are eligible to apply if you meet any of the criteria below:
- You live or work in the West Midlands
- You are a tenant or employee of a qualifying housing association
- You work for a qualifying employer
When you apply, you will automatically be set up with a savings account. There is one-off joining fee of £4 (which includes a £3 non refundable administration charge) to activate your membership.
Qualifying organisations
We work in partnership with the below housing associations and organisations. If you are a tenant or an employee for any of these, you are also eligible to apply.
Qualifying employers
If you work for one of our eligible employer partners you can join and save directly from your salary.
Please note if you do not pass the electronic identification check online, we will request two forms of identification by email to open your account. Once we have received your identification documents and your membership fee, you will receive a welcome letter in the post within 3-4 working days.
